Professional Experience
Strategic direction of Information Systems and Facility services for the Padova headquarters and Italian branches. Full operational and budgetary autonomy (CAPEX/OPEX). Leadership of a multidisciplinary team of 15 professionals (7 direct reports), covering IT operations, advanced solution development, security architectures and ERP environments, with full alignment to the German parent company (Bielefeld).
Managed the programming team. Developed proprietary algorithmic software for cutting-list and order management used by aluminium fabricator partners. Maintained the central LAN infrastructure.
From student years onwards: hotel IT support, hands-on lab work (electronics and electrical engineering), and customer-facing roles (barista). A grounded background that instilled deep respect for every kind of work.

SAP Transitions
Go-live and migration from Mainframe to SAP R/3 ERP for 120+ stakeholders; subsequent upgrades to ECC On-Premise and then On-Private-Cloud with HANA database. Currently leading the strategic SAP S/4HANA on Private Cloud project (Bluefield approach), balancing full operational continuity with end-to-end system modernisation.
Custom CRM Platform
Architecture, design and deployment of a complex proprietary web-based enterprise platform. Connects B2B partner portals, logistics flows and real-time bidirectional integration with MS-SQL Server and the SAP environment.
Cybersecurity & Networking
IT governance redesign with security at its core: defence architectures based on strong authentication, Zero Trust approach, next-gen firewalling (Palo Alto Networks), proactive monitoring and secure VPNs across Italian branches.
Workspace Evolution & Business Continuity
Led the infrastructure transformation through Microsoft 365 adoption (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Strategic focus: decoupling productivity and data access from physical presence, ensuring full operational capability anywhere as a pillar of Business Continuity.
